Undulating 5 mile trail event with a mixture of grass and tracks..
The race start is located on Colliers Moss, off Bold Lane B5204, between Bold and Collins Green. for SATNAV purposes, the postcode is WA9 4TX. The entrance to the site is next to the Bold Business Centre.
Entry options – Aged 17 or over on Race Day
Refund policy:
In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be kept by the organiser to cover administration and/or sunk costs of the event.
Refunds will not be provided to entrants, however we do allow transfers right up to the morning of the race.

Terms & Conditions
I am a Participant and acknowledge that by participating in the Event, I agree to the terms below and the Conditions, which include details of my cancellation rights. I also understand that I am entering in to a contract with the Event organiser and not England Athletics Limited and/or UK Athletics Limited.
I hereby:
• Agree that any participation by me in the Event is solely and entirely at my own risk and (to the extent permitted by law) no person(s) or organisation(s) shall be liable for any accident, harm, injury, loss or damage to property, action, claim, cost or expense, however so caused, arising out of or in connection with or, suffered during or as a result of, my participation in the Event, provided always that nothing shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused directly by the negligence of the organiser or its employees;
• Consent to medical assistance and/or medical care being given to me in the case of illness, injury or an emergency situation, should this occur during the Event, such assistance to be given by the organiser, its employees, contractors or other trained personnel conducting the Event (which may include the use of anaesthetics); I acknowledge and agree that:
• Running is an endurance sport;
• I should only undertake such an activity to a level which reflects my level of fitness;
• I am responsible for monitoring my own physical condition prior to and during participation in the Event; accept that I am participating at my own risk; and will not attend the event unless in good health on the day of the event.
• I understand the importance, for safety reasons, of obeying the rules, guidelines and instructions given by the Event Organisers officials, stewards, nominated representatives and other authorised personnel and hereby agree to abide by the same and to behave responsibly at all times during the Event and be mindful of the impact of my actions on others. Failure to do so may, at the discretion of the organiser, amount to misconduct and disqualification in accordance with UKA Rules 145 and 145 S1.
• My participation in the Event is for recreational and/or charity fundraising purposes only and I will not participate in the Event for any commercial or business purpose. The Event organiser will have no liability to the Participant for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or other loss of business opportunity.
• The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted. Runners not complying with this rule render themselves liable to disqualification.

On the day
LOCATION
The race start is located on Colliers Moss, off Bold Lane B5204, between Bold and Collins Green. for SATNAV purposes, the postcode is WA9 4TX. The entrance to the site is next to the Bold Business Centre.
RACE DAY PARKING
We would appreciate that you “car share”, if possible, as parking is limited. There are parking spaces available close to the start of the race, following the lane into the site. Please follow directions from the marshals and do not park so as to block access for others.
Race organisers will not be responsible for any parking fines or damage caused to parked cars whether in the car park or at the roadside.
Race Numbers – Race bib numbers are not posted out but are collected from race HQ on the day. Please leave yourself plenty of time to collect your number. It is important that you also complete the medical information on the rear of your race number.
Timings – The WRC 5 Mile Race begins at 10.30am but all runners should ensure they are located at the start for 10.20am to hear the pre run briefing.
There is also a strict policy of there being no dogs allowed on the course
Rules – Headphones are not permitted and should not be worn. This assists both you and the event organisers to adhere to all necessary health and safety procedures.
Baggage Area – Due to the large open space we do not have a secure baggage area, although the car park is very close by. Please ensure any valuables are either left at home or secured in your vehicle out of sight as we cannot be held responsible for any losses
Race Results – Your race result will be text to you shortly after you cross the finish line. Race results will be posted online shortly after the last finisher has crossed the finish line. Refund Policy – Warrington Running Club do not offer refunds however there are other options available…
Transfer to another runner – You can transfer your entry to another runner by logging into your NiftyEntries account (created when you registered) and following the instructions in the link below. The transfer process will close around 4 weeks before race day. If you need to transfer your entry to another runner after this date please contact wrc5miler@gmail.com

We have different running routes for different abilities. Once every month all the groups run the same 5KM route to help you move up a group.
The time we use for Club record purposes is that which is shown in the official race results (chip time).
Annual club competition between the members of WRC to introduce a new fun and social way to get into running competitively.
